关于 陈中华加拿大弟子谭华沾

加拿大渥太华市。陈中华加拿大早期入室弟子。 My full name is Wa James Tam (譚華沾/谭华沾) and I am a retired research scientist from the federal government of Canada. My expertise is in applied human vision research (Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology, York University, Toronto). I reside in Ottawa. I have some background in the Japanese martial arts (Karate and Aikido) and in Wu-family Taijiquan. My study and training in the Chen-Style Xinyi Hunyuan Taijiquan and Qigong System as well as in the Chen-Style Taijiquan Practical Method System began with my Shifu, Master Chen Zhonghua, in Ottawa, March 1998. I am interested in research that is aimed at improving our understanding of the underlying principles, concepts, methods and techniques encompassed in teaching, learning and training for developing the skills required under the Hunyuan and the Practical Method systems of Taijiquan. Currently, I am in the process of writing an article on visual perception and the Practical Method, tentatively titled, "Tai Chi in Plain Sight."
